Who we are
TenderGauge is operated by Bite and Brand Ltd ("we", "us") and provides tender discovery and bid-readiness assessment for UK suppliers. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address and authentication records, handled by our hosting and authentication provider.
- Supplier profile data: company name, website, year founded, UK registration status, sectors, certifications, geographies, reference contracts, revenue and employee bands, and working languages.
- Assessment data: the fit scores, recommendations, eligibility gaps and summaries generated when you run an AI analysis on a tender.
- Billing data: subscription status, plan and a payment provider customer reference. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us.
- Feedback: anything you send us through the in-app feedback form.
- Public company data: when you use company auto-fill, we query the public Companies House register. We store only the details you keep in your profile.
How we use your data
We use your profile to match and score tenders, to operate your account and subscription, to provide support, and — if you opt in — to send you a weekly tender digest email. Your tender text and profile details are sent to our AI provider solely to generate your assessment; they are not used to train third-party models.
Lawful basis
- Contract: providing the service you have signed up for, including assessments and billing.
- Consent: the weekly digest email, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link or your profile settings.
- Legitimate interests: service security, abuse prevention and product improvement.
- Legal obligation: tax and accounting records.
Service emails (sign-in, account and billing notices) are necessary to operate your account. The weekly digest is optional and consent-based; every digest includes a one-click unsubscribe link and our postal address.
Retention
We keep profile and assessment data for as long as your account is active and for 12 months afterwards, then delete or anonymise it. Billing records are kept for six years as required by UK tax law. Feedback is kept for up to 24 months.
Sharing and transfers
We share data only with processors that run the service: our cloud database and authentication host, our AI assessment provider, our email delivery provider and Stripe for payments. Where data is processed outside the UK, we rely on UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Addendum.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email okan@biteandbrand.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
